It was around this time that I also learned how to make mortice and tennan shoe flats —

As my first project at university, I learned how to make basic 8”x4” theatre flats as well as more complicated and specific flats for this show.

This show also exposed me to door and window hanging, and helped me become comfortable reading and manifesting construction drawings.

It was a great first project with a good mix of simple and complicated builds.

It was also my first get in and get out experience.
