While construction managing shows in the second year of my foundation degree, I became proficient in using AutoCAD to create construction drawings and master documents of sets.
Sketch up
After learning the basics of SketchUp in my first year of university, I taught myself to better understand and utilise the programme in my third year and I find it useful for more complicated set pieces. It helps me to visualise how to go about building a piece and spot future problems in the design process before I begin construction.
Aspire and CNC
I am very comfortable using Aspire to create or import vectors and create toolpaths to use on a CNC machine.
I enjoy using groups and layers to organise my work in a neat and satisfying way.
