Some commission work I did for a friend. I drew it up mainly on Aspire then cut it out of 18mm MDF on the CNC.

The hardest part was incorporating the join of the two halves into the design to make it as seamless as possible.

It turned out great!

Aspire and CNC

I like to use layers and grouped toolpaths to organise my work.

It may look confusing to others but it makes it easier for me to navigate and manage.

While working on a door project at uni, I figured out how to cut my own moulding on the CNC. I managed to make them already mitred and in the size I wanted rather than making strips of moulding, so this was a great experiment!
